Talk to the organizers
Proto-Dash is organized by the MTU Open Source Hardware Enterprise. Email contact@proto-dash.com for help with the website or a competition. Email is the primary support channel; you do not need to join a community service to get help.
Choose a subject
- Account support: include your account email and describe the issue. For missing verification mail, check your junk folder and university quarantine, then try Resend verification email in Account settings.
- Competition support: include the event name, the relevant deadline, and what happened. If reporting a technical failure, include the time and a screenshot with private details removed.
- Privacy Request: write from your account email when possible and describe whether you need access, correction, or deletion. Team members can contact us individually.
- Accessibility Request: include the barrier, page, preferred response format, and any deadline. No medical diagnosis is needed in your first email.
- Legal/IP Question: identify the event and material involved. Describe the issue without attaching confidential project files.
- Security Report: report suspected vulnerabilities privately, with steps to reproduce using your own account only.
Response and urgent deadlines
We aim to acknowledge messages within two business days. If a competition deadline is approaching, put “Time-sensitive” and the event name in the subject. This mailbox is not an emergency service. For an immediate laboratory or personal safety emergency, follow your institution’s emergency procedures.
Keep your account safe
Never email passwords, verification or reset links, session cookies, sensitive personal information, or confidential submissions. We will not ask for your password. We may ask you to confirm account ownership before changing private records.
Follow up
If you have not heard back after two business days, reply to your original message and request organizer review. For general community discussion, use the Discord link on the homepage; account, privacy, and security requests should stay in email.
